INTRODUCTION TO THE TZOLK’IN:
The Calendar of Human Consciousness
SAVE THE DATE: 8 Eagle/MEN
Sunday, October 16, 2016
SAVE THE DATE: 8 Eagle/MEN, October 16, 2016
Beginning October 16th thru December 20th
The course will offer a shared journey through the First Season (65 Days) of the new Tzolk’in Round that includes the first 5 trecena’s led by:
Each trecena will explore academic resources on the Mayan Calendar and tradition, the unique aspects of Cycles, Day Signs and Tones, offer Sacred Ceremony as a means of developing a relationship with the Archetypes of the calendar, and on the peak tone of each trecena, we’ll compare notes and discuss insights and experiences. New goals for understanding different aspects of the calendar will be offered for each trecena.
We’ll also cover the basic calculations for Mayan Calendar date conversion and I will share the calculations for your own Mayan Holy Cross as they were shared with me, using the Sacred 19 Basis for calculation. This version of the Mayan Holy Cross has been meaningful in providing insight for the daily experience (and navigation) of energies.
A private blog will be our Sacred Space. My hope is that this meeting place will offer a space for community that feels small, intimate, and personal. Coursework will be offered on a donation basis so that no one with a serious desire to participate will be excluded.
Starting our journey on 8 Eagle/MEN, the peak day preceding the beginning of the new round on 1 Crocodile/IMIX, will allow us each time to have a strategy and focus in place to approach our new beginning.
Sharing the path that has offered balance and meaning to my life has been my Highest Aspiration. This course has been my Intention since the Maya New Year, July 4, 2016. I’ve considered what I might offer and the way I could bring it forward with the Highest Intentions. What has felt like a long-time coming together, has now presented itself in its own perfect time… realizing its birthday under the Eagle Trecena of our Highest Intentions.
Details and registration will be offered before the conclusion of the Eagle/MEN trecena. I am excited to share what has been going on in the background as I have been reaching for my Highest Dream.
In lak’ech, I am another you

P.S. Fundamental resources for the class will be offered under the Daykeeper Resources menu on the public Jaguar Spirit blog. I’ve been re-experiencing the resources that first inspired me. I encourage anyone interested in the course to view the Ian Lungold video linked on that page to establish a preliminary understanding of the meaning and purpose of the Calendar.
