12 Wisdom/CIB – Spiritual Quickening

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

12 Wisdom/CIB

12 Wisdom/CIB

Greetings Kin,

Tone 12 empowers us with a gift for retrospection. We have the ability to reflect on this trecena to draw the meaning of its purpose. With the combined Day Sign of Wisdom/CIB we have a powerful capacity for understanding. The Wisdom/CIB glyph represents the mind in its purest state of forgiveness and spiritual communion.

We are emerging from a portal that connected us to the dimension of Spirit. As the veil reappears it’s up to us to remember and hold our own vision. Tone 12 asks us to review our experiences within the mind, heart and body. We are given insight to understand a deeper meaning or purpose.

THE TRECENA OF SERPENT/CHICCHAN

12 Wisdom/CIB (Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’)

Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.

Wisdom/CIB: The old ones. Wisdom of the ancients. Wisdom persons are aligned with the ancient memories that wait in the stone of temples and sacred sites all over the world. Wisdom people grow luck like a crop using a balance of prudence and tenacity. The tremendous inner strength of this sign enables silent introspection to discover areas of oneself that contain wisdom more valuable than any trove of archaeological treasure. Wisdom persons are valiant defenders of family and community. They may become hardened to life and sentiment turned cold. In these cases, they need much forgiveness for their uncaring errors. Periodically connecting with nature and or visiting sacred sites will bring great stability to wisdom persons. A good day to sit on a rock.

Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’   O’JJ: Symbol is the Owl is Arcturus, the brightest Star in the Constellation Bootes. The Cherokee Bear constellation (Ursa Major) includes the Big Dipper plus four stars in Bootes.  Owl is a hunter, who stands for the wisdom and ability of all great hunters, the cunning of a fox, the tenacity of a bulldog and strength of a bear. Energy for deep thinkers, strong-willed, rigid convictions, bold and authoritative.  Owl is the Mystic Ferryman who guides Earthlings on the return path to the stars holding the torch aloft.

Spiritual Quickening: Day 12

The Serpent/CHICCHAN trecena presents us with an initiation of Spirit. Traditional initiation ceremony requires a personal sacrifice as a demonstration of commitment. The challenges we may have faced through the dramatic energies of this cycle might reveal a deeper understanding.

Wisdom/CIB is the Day Sign of the old ones. The cellular memories passed down by every generation are the threads that connect our souls.  We are opened to receive the wisdom of our ancestors.

Today is celebrated as Memorial Day in the USA, honoring those who have paid the ultimate price in service to their country. This is also a day to remember the generations of Grandfathers and Grandmothers who would offer their wisdom.

To all my relations, today we can come to a deeper understanding by looking at where we’ve been. This is a day to honor our ancestors who walked this way before. We can ask them what they would have us know.
