3 Storm / CAUAC

Greetings Kin,

Galactic Tone 3 is the first day of movement of the trecena of Earth/CABAN. We are the Seed of a new inspiration that will be ignited by the Life Force of Earth’s Magic. As we take action on a new idea or intention we will be drawn into Oneness with Earth’s powerful forces. The dream of who we might become in the world takes on its own life with our first movement toward this intention.

Storm/CAUAC embodies the feeling of warmth and security in the home while the tempest rages in the outside world. This is a lesson for the evolution of our Spiritual Nature. There is an element of chaos and challenge in holding fast to a new way of being. There is always some resistance from the outside world when we attempt to make change. It takes time for our change to be acknowledged by those around us, who may appear intent on our remaining just the same.

Storm demonstrates the power in a dedicated practice of turning within. Our change is supported when we connect with the Source that always sees our Sacred Potential. We can consider how a new practice of a set “time out” from the world can help us remember the purpose and meaning for our change.

Storm/CAUAC guides us to cherish what is important and to find our security and happiness apart from the chaos of the world. Storm can also serve to sweep away the dead branches. The parts of us that no longer are aligned with who we are becoming can be cleared so our New Growth will thrive and the roots of our Own New Truth can reach down to find a deeper foundation.

As we discover whole new aspects of ourselves to explore and understand, the world we live in grows exponentially larger and more joyful. Storms are capable to change the entire landscape of our lives and sometimes in dramatic ways. Though we may not always understand the changes as they occur, the reasons will be clear in hindsight.

Cauac is among the Day Signs that energizes us with ‘lightning in the blood’ that calls the physical senses of the body into a communication with the energy of Spirit. We are called to pay attention to our intuition or sense of knowing that is confirmed through a sensation in the body.

To all my relations, 3 Storm/CAUAC calls us to take a first step forward, holding fast to a new dream of who we are. When we feel challenged, our Own Truth within holds the power to carry us through.

THE TRECENA OF EARTH/CABAN

3 Storm/CAUAC (Cherokee, Redbird /TOTSU’HWA)

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.

Storm/Cauac: Day of the blessing of rain, giver of all life and lightening, a gift of nitrogen to Mother Earth and ozone to Father Sky. Cauac is also associated with the moon and the cycles of the moon, which are the meter of the feminine aspect of creation. The essence of Storm is the feeling of unity, security and warmth experienced in the home while the tempest of trouble rages in the world outside. Perpetually youthful, Storms exist to experience the ecstasy of freedom. They have the great capacity to both learn and teach. Their constant quest for novel experiences often leads to difficult tests and storms of emotion. Looking at these difficulties for the lessons they indeed are, will enrich our lives rather than destroy. Cauac individuals teach much through their electricity of being. Lightning energizes earth, this same energy energizes humans. Divine connections can be accessed.

Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA: Redbird is a feminine sign; the hand that rocks the cradle. The symbol of nurturing, the lightning nurtures and energizes, with energy for zest, curiosity, imagination, and ideas. Lightning adds spiritual force to the human by way of “lightning of the blood” of a healer, directly body to body vibration. The key to spiritual communication and access to the wisdom of the Ancestors lies in the ability to bestir the blood to speak.  (More on the trecena guide.)
