7 Wind / IK – Wisdom of Forgiveness

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

7 Wind / IK

7 Wind / IK

Greetings Kin,

Tone 7 gives us the Power of Reflection to see things clearly. We guided to bring ourselves into alignment with God’s Divine Will so that our intentions may be elevated to their Highest Purpose. Wind/IK brings the Breath of Spirit and Breath of Life, and Wind carries the Voice of the Creator.

To be aligned with Divine Will requires us to surrender. A surrender to Divine Will requires our action as well as our forgiveness. Through our forgiveness we are able to “accept what is.” When injustice isn’t resolved through forgiveness, we must also surrender to a new Way that is required of Us. Through forgiveness, we are released from our resentments so that we can make right decisions. And, through surrender we can find the courage necessary to make a new way forward to walk in peace and integrity.

Moving forward and away from situations and relationships that no longer serve can be difficult when we are vested in the opinions of others… even when we don’t agree. While we can release ourselves from unforgiveness, action may be necessary to establish our own resolution. It is right and good to make choices that support our integrity.

Wind/IK reminds us of our perfect source of guidance and inspiration, so that we are motivated from Divine Inspiration versus a reaction to circumstance. When we seek alignment with God’s Will, no harm can befall us. Our movements are empowered by God’s Highest Authority.

Wind holds the power to change directions quickly. Though some might judge our change as fickle, change is the cornerstone of our ongoing transformation. As we become more open to change, we learn to hold our Truths and Understanding more lightly, realizing even our Truth is subject to change as we grow.

At Tone 7, we stand at a pivotal balancing point as we prepare to shift into the descending flow of transformational energy. Surrender means that we completely give up our own will to subject our thoughts, ideas, and deeds to the will and teachings of a higher authority.

To release our control requires our faith. Through faith in something greater than ourselves we can find the peace of acceptance. Things don’t have to happen exactly as we have imagined. We are opened to something far better as we no longer have to rely on our own understanding. When we submit to Divine Will, we may have confidence that our footsteps are guided, no matter where our paths may lead.

To all my relations, may we let go of the ego’s desire for worldly acceptance so that we may rely solely on the Voice of Divine Spirit as our Authority. May we release our old ways of doing things and take courage to move in a new direction, when it is aligned and grounded in the Sacred Intention of Divine Will.

in lak’ech, i am another you

THE TRECENA OF WISDOM/CIB

7 Wind/IK (Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA)

Galactic Tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of divine will. With a keen sense of ethics, Seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.

Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.

Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe (matching the Mayan symbol) channel of communication and carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit (Source- Hunab Ku in Mayan); matches the pulse of the breath of the Cosmos.
