MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
The Eagle/MEN trecena calls us to reach for our Highest Dream. We are being presented with what could fundamentally be the biggest and most important challenge of our lives. Our Highest Dreams challenge us to leave behind something important of enduring value.
Tone 2 symbolizes duality, our separation from the whole. We experience our unique response to the challenge. The Higher the Intention, the more we may be drawn to our deepest sense of limitation. We are suddenly faced with our own excuses, failures, and blame. Under the intuitive foresight of the Eagle/MEN trecena, Wisdom/CIB was positioned as our guide.
Wisdom/CIB is the Day Sign of the Ancients, the Ascended Masters – those who succeeded on the Human path to Illumination and Consciousness. They know our Earthly Walk and bring the Wisdom of all Human Experience.
On Tone 2 we consider all the reasons for our Dream to Be or Not to Be. We see how we measure ourselves differently from the whole. Our awareness is turned to the Voices of both Spirit and Shadow. Shadow can be easily heard as the response of our ego. To hear the Voice of Spirit requires us to enter a Divine Communion.
Wisdom/CIB holds the Wisdom that our Highest State of Illumination is reached only by a Mind in the State of Forgiveness. Forgiveness is the magic ingredient that can dissolve our feelings of separation. The blame for our past failed attempts stands in the way of a new commitment. CIB can reveal how every step was necessary.
Through our forgiveness we are opened to see that even our past experiences of failure have offered us something of value. With the courage to look at our feelings of limitation, we can be given the Wisdom to see through the fear of our illusion.
Tone 2 can feel like a lot of incoming information along with sense of urgency to take action. When I’ve given myself the time to “sleep on it,” I have a clearer perspective on the morning of Tone 3. Today is also a portal day, 09/27/2016… the last of 3 (9th, 18th, 27th). Combined with the eclipses in September, these have been times of accelerated and sudden change. This is a day to offer ourselves forgiveness and plenty of TLC.
May we remember that the Ancients are a source of ever-present support. In addition to the Divine Guidance of the Creator, we were given a means for connection to those that understand first hand our own Human Experience.
To all my relations, may we reflect on what has prevented us from reaching for this goal before. Wisdom/CIB calls us to a Spirit of Forgiveness for ourselves and others. May CIB offer us the power of discernment to hear the Voice of Spirit that brings the answers to heal our Shadow.

THE TRECENA OF EAGLE/MEN
2 Wisdom/CIB (Cherokee, Owl/U’GUKU’)
Galactic Tone 2: Mysterious as the question ‘to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.
Wisdom/CIB: The old ones. Wisdom of the ancients. Wisdom persons are aligned with the ancient memories that wait in the stone of temples and sacred sites all over the world. Wisdom people grow luck like a crop using a balance of prudence and tenacity. The tremendous inner strength of this sign enables silent introspection to discover areas of oneself that contain wisdom more valuable than any trove of archaeological treasure. Wisdom persons are valiant defenders of family and community. They may become hardened to life and sentiment turned cold. In these cases, they need much forgiveness for their uncaring errors. Periodically connecting with nature and or visiting sacred sites will bring great stability to wisdom persons. A good day to sit on a rock.
Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’ O’JJ: Symbol is the Owl is Arcturus, the brightest Star in the Constellation Bootes. The Cherokee Bear constellation (Ursa Major) includes the Big Dipper plus four stars in Bootes. Owl is a hunter, who stands for the wisdom and ability of all great hunters, the cunning of a fox, the tenacity of a bulldog and strength of a bear. Energy for deep thinkers, strong-willed, rigid convictions, bold and authoritative. Owl is the Mystic Ferryman who guides Earthlings on the return path to the stars holding the torch aloft.
