MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
On our Vision Quest to Self Realization, we are led to recognize the dynamic nature of our Being. To maintain our stability, Monkey reminded us that the Truth of who we are is not reflected by the circumstances of the moment. Our dynamic identity can only be conceived through a reflection of our past, present, and future. Tone 5 of empowerment leads us to an understanding of our own source of Power. Road/EB brings the Power through a perception to Know Ourselves.
Road/EB can help us see the full road to our destiny. The glyph of Road/EB illustrates the Human with the Road of Destiny placed on its own head. Who we are Becoming is a personal choice and our own responsibility.
Road/EB, also known as Human, is described as the bearer of time. Who we Can Be is born over time by the choices of our own Free Will. Each day presents us with a new set of circumstances. We bear the responsibility of the foot-work.
As Humans we must take into account that we are learning along the way. Not all our steps will lead in the right direction. Our Experiences lead us to new strategies as we go along. The distance from Point A to Point B is shortened by taking a daily inventory of where we are.
Road/EB can reveals the value of our effort over time. The small changes we make each day are exponentially more powerful than our occasional monumental effort.
This is the work presented to us by 5 Road/EB, to take responsibility for ourselves. We can’t just hope for a different set of circumstances. And, we can’t wait for someone else to make the difference. We are the Ones we are waiting for. Now is the Time and Place to reflect on our direction.
To all my relations, may we be open to the Vision of who we might choose to Be. May we see that the way there will chart its own course as we hold onto our Dream. May we look back from where we’ve come that presented us to this moment to see the Truth that we’re Becoming.

THE TRECENA OF STAR/LAMAT
5 Road/EB (Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA)
Galactic Tone 5: Empowerment. At the center of the cube we find Five. Five is an intelligent, organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application. Fives are natural networkers who gather what is needed. These persons can probe directly to the core of any situation making them excellent investigators.
Road/EB: The bearer of time and conductor of destiny; also known as Human; these persons open the road and guide to the future groups, communities and individuals alike. Likable, obedient, dedicated hard workers and organizers, Road persons are fortunate in business and travel. Many become care takers of the poor, sick, or old people, where they may make personal sacrifices. Road is sometimes referred to as the sign of grass, which is the most bountiful of all life forms, but is also the most humble. Road persons are affectionate and emphatic; they are easily hurt but slow to anger. Holding in of negative emotions and unexpressed resentment can lead to illness, a poisoned opinion of others and a false bravado for this sun sign.
Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA: Symbolized by a rainbow, the delicate display of electromagnetic rays of the SUN. Rattlesnake Tooth is the Natal day sign of Medicine, the Shaman, the Priest, the Healer, and the Sorcerer. Guardian of the Way, Keeper of the Keys of the secret Kingdom.
