13 Sun/AHAU – Vision Quest: Ascension

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

13 Sun/AHAU

13 Sun/AHAU

Greetings Kin,

We complete the Tzolk’in round on the Ascension of 13 Sun/AHAU.  The Vision Quest of this Star/LAMAT trecena has tested our limits as we were opened to the Highest Transformation of Ourselves. Sun/AHAU greets us as our Source of Life and Illumination.

Sun/AHAU is the Champion who encourages us to give our every effort. We were asked for one final push as the Sun set on 12 Storm/CAUAC.

As someone else was sharing a success story CAUAC sent the thunderbolt reminding me of a major accomplishment. 12 Storm/CAUAC was my final push to finish a long-term work project that seemed bigger than me when I started. I realized how, by making small but consistent effort to be Present in the Moment, all the pieces had come together. It also revealed how significant accomplishments in our lives can be overlooked when we don’t have an Intention to Acknowledge them.

GREEN DAY: 13 Sun/AHAU, Kin 260 is a Portal Day that magnifies the Vision of Success we are Worthy to Claim. A thinning of the veil opens our Connection to the Ancestors. The Wisdom they will share will be Multiplied to Abundance by the leader of the trecena, Star/LAMAT.

On the last 13 Sun/AHAU, I wondered if the changes I had been experiencing could be real. When it was written in February, I was still afraid to share my name or my picture. My Total Realization of Self on this 13 Sun/AHAU is that for the first time in my life, I’m not afraid to share who I am.  I’ve taken greater chances and applied more effort than any time in my life, all by taking small steps of purpose in the direction of 20 Sacred 13-day cycles of Intention.

sunflowers-facing the sunWhen we acknowledge each day as a Sacred Event, and apply our effort to a Higher Purpose, we move in Correspondence with the Flow of our Own Transformation.

The Cherokee Day Sign for Sun/AHAU is Flower/ Gun’tsi. The face of the flower follows the Sun gathering the fire of creativity, illuminating harmony and balance, resonating peace and continuity within the human spirit. This is the Sign of the Chalice of the Infinite, Caldron of Creation.

Sun/AHAU is the Day of the Ancestors and our connection to their guidance. The Wisdom they preserved for so many generations is Our Own Inheritance. As we close the Tzolk’in round may we acknowledge each of the Kin who led this journey. One of the traditions of the New Year is to Count the Days of the Tzolk’in by calling each name of the 260 Kin. May we offer our Prayers of Gratitude for the Wisdom that guides us and for the Blessing of Life we’ve been given.

The Star/LAMAT trecena has led us to see that we Shine Like the Stars as the Personification of Light. We were given everything we need to live in Harmony in a Living World. The teaching of every Ancient Mystery School reveals the Principle Belief in our Power to Connect to the Source of All Wisdom. We are Empowered to Create what we hold in a Vision of Spirit.

To all my relations, Know that You ARE changed. The Earliest Signs from a New Direction Are True and are Yours to Celebrate! May we Honor the Ancestors who preserved the Sacred Wisdom and Acknowledge that they made our Own Success Possible. This is a time to Shine Our Light on those who’ve Shown the Way.

Happy 13 Sun/AHAU Birthday to Daykeeper, Kjella. And, Happy 90th Birthday to my Dad!

THE TRECENA OF STAR/LAMAT

13 Sun/Ahau (Cherokee, Flower/Gun’tsi)

Galactic Tone 13: Ascension; Thirteen assists us to go to the next higher step, propels us to try something new or to try again. Thirteen energy takes us over the next mountain just to see what is there. Thirteen carries the last success to the newest effort. Thirteen is a number associated with the Ascended Masters, creation, expansion, and manifestation.

Sun/Ahau: Day of the ancestors and connection to their guidance. The divine face of the sun – lord, musician, singer, dancer, and marksman. Suns are artistic, heroic athletes, visionaries with wise judgement who lead and defend the people. So much is expected from themselves and by other people that unfulfilled expectations are a certainty. An accumulation of these disappointments may lead Sun to evade responsibilities, not accept corrections and even build resentment and disdain towards others. Suns should simplify their lives to be able to rise and shine with unconditional love once again.

Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK: Symbol is the Sun, place of abode of Great Spirit. The Sun creates, nurtures and is the super communicator, the way station that relays messages and energy from other stars in the galaxy; provides energy for channeling information from the Ancestors; speaking the Living Language of Light, which ignites the consciousness in others. Gold is the color of courage and opportunity of wealth. Creative arts, master craftsman expressing divinity and wisdom through their creations. The face of the flower follows the Sun gathering the fire of creativity, illuminating harmony and balance, resonating peace and continuity within the human spirit. This is the Sign of the Chalice of the Infinite, Caldron of Creation.

  1. Our Beloved Jaguar… May you be Honored and Recognized on this most Sacred and last day of the 260 day calendar. Thank you for your presence and sharing your insights and information on this ancestral calendar. Maybe one day the collective will eventually awaken to the significance of this technology, and reflect upon an amazing woman who felt compelled to share these insights long before it was ever appreciated in the West. Jaguar Spirit indeed!

    • They are different – they follow the same days, but their spin is definitely different. https://www.azteccalendar.com/ (see what they say about Sun!)
Sun is benevolent life bringer to the Maya, similar to native american. I like to check in on them. I’m very surprised at their 13 Sun/AHAU being an unlucky day. The descriptions I include in italics are the descriptions offered by Ian Lungold – common to most of us in the West. They were endorsed by Don Alejandro, who is the 13th generation mayan shaman and spiritual leader of the Mayan nations. I always look for that – it’s what I tune in to, and there are so many variations by region. You pique my interest. The Maya are thought to originate from the Olmec tribes. I’ll have to see where the Aztecs came from.
