MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 13 raises our last success to our newest effort, encouraging us to try something new or to try again. Serpent/CHICCHAN brings the purpose to ignite our Supernatural Senses.
13 Serpent/CHICCHAN, Kin 65, marks the end of the first of four seasons of the 260-day Tzolk’in round. 13 Chicchan guards a season of birth, regeneration, and spiritual awakening. Like the seasons of our lives, the effort of our first season is invested in discovering who we are, how to move, and the directions we would take.
As we Ascend to a new Season of Spiritual Growth, Chicchan brings a Blessing of Vital Energy. A Divine Force, Instinct and Desire for Creativity as the Catalyst that will ignite a new Season of Transformation.
Serpent is said to light the fuse that magnifies and explodes the Life Force itself. As a Red Day Sign, Chicchan “initiates,” and positioned in the Direction of East, calls us to a New Light.
Thirteen is a number associated with the Ascended Masters, creation, expansion, and manifestation. We are just beginning to manifest our footing and the foundation that will support our Work in the World.
Just as Christmas represents a season of Hope, Expectation, and the Fulfillment of a Divine Prophecy, 13 Serpent/CHICCHAN initiates us as a New Light Born unto the World.
Chicchan builds the bridge that leads us from Earth-bound to Heavenly Aspirations. As we stand at a new Summit we have the Vision to see beyond ourselves. Accepting our place of Oneness with the Whole, our desire to compete falls away as new horizons hold a Vision of what we might accomplish together.
The Number 13 presents the Supernatural Power to evoke Divine Assistance in human affairs. Today is a celebration attended by the Ascended Masters, our Guardian Angels, and our Spirit Guides. Through heightened Senses of Intuition and Knowing, our Awareness of the Truth of their Presence is raised to a new level.
This is a day to pay attention to our sense of intuition, gut instincts, and Sixth Sense of Knowing. Today holds the potential to present us with a new inspiration or enlightenment that becomes the new Light we Follow.
To all my relations, may we look back to see just how far we’ve come and the new horizons now in view. May we open ourselves to receive an in-pouring of Divine Spirit.
in lak’ech, i am another you

13 Serpent/Chicchan (Cherokee, Serpent/DO’TSI)
Galactic Tone 13: Ascension; Thirteen assists us to go to the next higher step, propels us to try something new or to try again. Thirteen energy takes us over the next mountain just to see what is there. Thirteen carries the last success to the newest effort. Thirteen is a number associated with the Ascended Masters, creation, expansion, and manifestation.
Serpent/CHICCHAN: Movement and the creation of time. Sensual and dramatic, this sun sign embodies intense instinctual wisdom and creates a connection from Earth bound, to Heavenly aspirations. By sincere service to others, Serpent opens and expands its heart. Serpent aligns authority and the truth to bring justice that is quick and sure. Serpents are very adaptable, even fluid until trapped in a corner, and then they explode. Serpents, venomous temper poisons itself as well as others by creating resentful, suppressive and even destructive attitudes.
Cherokee, Serpent/DO’TSI: Serpent’s symbol is Constellation Serpens. Serpent people are Sky people who come to earth periodically as Educators. As above-So below, on Earth the Serpent is the roots of the tree of knowledge. Serpent power is vital energy, the moving force, the instinct and desire for creativity, the trigger that sets off the action. It lights the fuse that magnifies and explodes the life force itself. Knowledge, combining science, technology and psychology, plus spirituality are seeded on the planet.
