9 Deer / MANIK – Spirit Revival: Day 9

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

9 Deer/MANIK

9 Deer/MANIK

Greetings Kin,

On the last Peak Day of this cycle, Tone 9 brings the Intention to Broaden our Perspective. Tone 9 asks for the Patience to Complete our Understanding. There is something more to learn about our Freedom of Creation. Tone 9 cautions us that there could be consequences from a lack of foresight.

Deer/MANIK demonstrates the Power of Vigilance. Deer lives life as a pilgrimage. Through focused Observation of all 4 Directions, Deer is capable to discern its next right move.

Deer/MANIK is the Day Sign of the Mayan Priest. The glyph shows the finger and thumb of a Hand that grasp a thread of Ether to complete a Divine Circuit. As an Agent of the Creator, Deer places a new Understanding within our Grasp.

As a Blue Day Sign of the West, Deer/MANIK brings understanding through something experiential. This is a day to Honor and Pay Attention to our Emotional Responses to daily experience. Through vigilance, Deer holds a Heightened Sense of Awareness of Frequency of Vibration. Deer can guide us to an Understanding of how we can extend the Spiritual Gifts we were given through the Power of Harmonic Resonance.

Understanding that we are Each given the Gift of Free Will, we can discern that our Power is Limited to the Choices we make for Ourselves. Our Power to Choose is a Gift we are meant to Honor in each other.

Deer demonstrates our Divine Power to Influence by Example. “Almost 350 years ago, Dutch inventor and scientist Christiaan Huygens observed that two pendulum clocks hanging from a wall would synchronize their swings over time.” The reason behind this mystery would be an influence of sound and vibration. Just as discordant musical tones attempt to vibrate in harmony, so can we draw an Harmonic Response. Our Power to Elevate the Consciousness of others lies in Silently Standing Silently in our Own Truth.

In its role as priest or shaman, Deer represents a powerful person in a position where they could exert their power over another. Tone 9’s caution for patience, seeds the Wisdom to remain focused on our Own Transformation.

To all my relations, may we draw the Wisdom to know the Transformation of our own Consciousness is a Force of its own. May we observe our Truth with vigilance from the Center of our own Universe. And, may we remember that no Human was meant to exert power over another. The Truth of our Example is empowered by Spirit to be our True Beacon of Light.

in lak’ech, I am another you
