5 Offering / MULUC – Walk Between Worlds: Day 5

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

5 Offering/MULUC

5 Offering/MULUC

Greetings Kin,

Tone 5 brings the energy of empowerment. Each cycle of 13 represents a completed cycle of harvest. Each cycle begins with a seed in germination and ends with the harvest that produces the seed for the next generation of our Spiritual Transformation. Tone 5 represents the place of “sprouting.” We have worked our way to the Light and are beginning to show the evidence of what we would become. On Tone 5 we gather what is needed to complete our growth to its full maturity, where we are capable to produce the fruit of a Spiritual Harvest.

As the gardeners of our lives, Tone 5 leads us to gather what is needed. Five is an intelligent, organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application. Tone 5 offers us the power of discernment.

GREEN KIN: ELEMENT OF ETHER
The Serpent/CHICCHAN trecena presents 10 Portal Days in a row (Tones 2 thru 12). Our experiences will be magnified by a thinning of the veil and an opening to other dimensions. Today we enter a world of Spirit to make an Offering of Ourselves. Looking through this Portal to Spirit we can see the Truth of Who We Are so we may draw all that is needed.

Offer/MULUC offers the Power of Holy Spirit. Symbolizing water everywhere from the cosmos to our own tears, water is the medium that holds the Ether of Spirit. Water is the blood of Earth that flows through the rivers and streams from which we draw the nourishment of life. As we are raised to life we hold this water and the Holy Spirit within. When we return to the Earth we rejoin the whole and exist as one with water everywhere. Our Spirit lives on in the body of the One.

Dawn breaks to reveal a blanket of snow - the crystallization of Spirit that can be held in our hands.

Dawn breaks to reveal a blanket of snow – the crystallization of Spirit that can be held in our hands.

MULUC calls us to be joined now. We are given the Power of Atonement (at-one-ment) through an offering of surrender. We can give ourselves to the One that holds the Power of ALL Spirit. We can dive in and experience our Oneness as the Rain falling back to Earth, the water that flows in twists and turns as the brook that turns into a river and flows to the Ocean, where we are all rejoined as One. When we offer ourselves to this Experience of Being, we can begin to see who we are as One with the Substance of Spirit Everywhere.

MULUC calls us to a Purification by Water and a Holy Baptism of Spirit. We can offer ourselves through the acknowledgement of water everywhere. Every place we see water we can know the Truth of Spirit There. As we drink water we can Bless the Holy Presence that mingles with our own. As water pours over us, we can imagine it as the Descending Light of Spirit that purifies our Mind, Heart, and Body. We can imagine the Power of the Ocean that holds the Elements and Spirit of all our Sacred Ancestors as well as the elements of our own Living Body. Even as we live our water is shared with the whole.

Though MULUC is a symbol of water, it holds the Element of Fire. We can realize our Closeness in Spirit as we recognize the Holy Fire, the Spark of the Creator, that is held in the Substance of Water. Our walk in the World of Spirit is our Offering to be Rejoined to the One.

MULUC is also a symbol of the Moon and our Emotions. The “lightning in the blood” is the Gift of Fire that the Serpent/CHICCHAN trecena would Raise to our Consciousness.  We are called to Surrender to our Emotions so we may Honor the Fire that is expressed as a feeling in the Heart. The heart is the central place of distribution for the Substance of Spirit that is delivered to every part of the body. The Water of Spirit is the primary substance of everything we are.

The Cherokee symbolize this energy as The River of heavenly stars in the Milky Way, where Spirits are gathered together as One. We hold the Power of all Possibility as we become One in the flow with the River of Spirit.

To all my relations, may we consider the Element of Fire. Though its flame holds no form or substance, its energy is easily discernible. May we be given the eyes to see the Flame of Life that burns within as the Energy and Power of our Spirit. May we recognize that one day the substance of who we are will be fully rejoined in the rain, in the brooks that lead to the rivers and in the rivers that lead to the Ocean. As we fan the Flames of our Own Spirit, we generate the Fire that would be our contribution to the Beating Heart of our Mother, Earth.

5 Offering/MULUC (Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA)

Galactic Tone 5: Empowerment. At the center of the cube we find Five. Five is an intelligent, organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application. Fives are natural net workers who gather what is needed. These persons can probe directly to the core of any situation making them excellent investigators.

Offering/MULUC: Also known as the sign of water. Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purification. These ceremonies are done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony. In sincere appreciation, Offering people gladly give more than they ask for themselves. Offering persons are dynamic communicators with great intelligence making them excellent employers. Like a shaken vessel of water, Offering people regain equilibrium quickly. Also like a body of water, there may be deep undercurrents of emotion and hidden dangers. Others perceive these as hidden agendas in offering people and so extend them little trust and may even slap blame on them.

Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA:  The River is symbolized by The Milky Way, the Gihli’Utsun’stanun’yi “Where the Dog Ran” to gather the souls for Heaven.  The River is the minion for Grandfather Moon.  Long Man is the personification of the River stretching from the mountains to the lowlands, speaking to those who can understand.  People of this sign find “sermons in the stones” and good in everything.  These souls march to a different drummer, driven by inner volcanic forces.  The Moon controls our fluid cycle, to clear and understand emotional issues.  When you take this step to clear the emotional body, then you are ready for transformational energies at the next level.  As humans, our actions are ruled by our emotions, the key is to understand the connection and honor the emotions.
