MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
The next 13 days…
Seed/KAN is the Day Sign that embodies the Sacred Forces that are held by every Human. Seed represents the dynamic energies of Human sexuality, gender, and reproduction. Seed illustrates the Spark of Divinity shared by the Creator, giving Human the Power of Creation.
Seed helps us to see that Only a Sacred Force is capable to bond the elements of Spirit and Matter. Human’s discovery of cloning doesn’t account for the Spirit of Consciousness. The Sacred Spark is not man-made. A Sacred Force of Life draws a Spark of the Divine. Seed/KAN guides us to a Higher Consciousness of our Oneness with the Creator and the Divinity of our Being as vessels created to hold a Spark of God.
KAN is also known as the Dragon, a symbol found in cultures throughout the world, representing the energy of potency, life force, growth, prosperity and expansion. Seed/KAN’s purpose is to effect an Ascension of Divine Wisdom (13 Wisdom/CIB) through a new Transformation of Divine Consciousness.
PORTAL DAYS: The Seed/KAN trecena opens a 10-day Portal that thins the veil to other dimensions. The Portal Days open with our first Movement toward an Intention (Tone 3). At the same time, 3 Transformer/CIMI brings its Gift of Clairvoyance. The Portal holds open our Awareness to a Divine Presence that will effect the Divine Justice (8th uinal) of Harmony and Balance.
- 6 Offering/MULUC – Spiritual Growth will be accomplished through the Atonement of an Offering
- 7 Dog/OC – we will be balanced with Unconditional Love
- 8 Monkey/CHUEN – we receive the gift of Divine Justice, magnified by Tone 8 in Uinal 8
- 9 Road/EB – Spirit will broaden our perspective on our own Human Destiny
1 Seed/KAN begins a cycle of Sacred Energy that will Engage our own Divine Potential to Create Lasting Change that supports the future transformation of mankind. Tone 1 brings a new Divine Inspiration upon which we will choose our own Sacred Intention for this cycle. The energy of Tone 1 supports our inward reflection and presence in the moment. This is a day to take time to ourselves.
Seed/KAN will inspire us in a direction that would lead us toward a way of living that acknowledges and applies the Divinity of our Design, and the Sacred Spark we hold to be One with the Creator, Creating Creation.
The “Dragon Energy” of Seed/KAN is our own Life Force and Consciousness that connects us to the energetic grid that connects the Sacred Sites around the world. A new Consciousness of our Oneness with this flow of energy will allow us to see how we, ourselves, become a part of Human Consciousness that will endure beyond our Our Own Time.
Seed/KAN brings Unity to Body and Spirit. This is an important time to take care of our Whole Self. Dragon is often depicted as a creature that moves through water. Hydration of the body magnifies our sensitivity. We can also feed our Body Spirit with the Nourishment of Consciousness. One of the most sacred things we do is take food into the body. Our food can be Blessed by our Gratitude and Acknowledgement to the living creatures that were sacrificed and the hands of those who served to manifest the meal set before us. We can ask a Divine Blessing upon every source of our life’s sustenance.
Through a greater Consciousness of our Self, we will “bestir our blood to speak.” This is a time to consider the language within our body – all the ways it tells us what is needed. We can consider how our body is able to tell us when it is hungry, so we might have a sense of this language. As we call our own attention to the body’s communication, we will also become aware of the subtle communication of Spirit that will be magnified by acknowledgement. As well as close observance of our body, we are also called into a closer observance of our own actions. The Dragon holds the energy to “See Clearly.” Seed/KAN will empower us with the Vision to see Our Self.
Today is a day to reset our altar in acknowledgement of a cycle that offers the potential for our most dynamic transformation. We could surround ourselves with the visual observances that would help us remember. We could honor Each of the Elements that make up who we are that are associated with each Day Sign of the trecena, offering acknowledgement in our own unique way. This is a trecena to recognize and remember the guides and way-showers who support our Spiritual Journey.
To all my relations, may we approach the Seed/KAN trecena with a greater commitment to our own Being. May we put forth an effort that would establish a closer relationship with our Self. May we recognize our Self as a Vessel of Divine Energy – a Force of Life that was gifted with a Divine Spark of the Creator. As we engage our dynamic potential to send our Spirit and Energy forward for all time, may we begin in Humility and Gratitude for the Awesome Gifts we were Given. May we acknowledge the experiences of this trecena as a Sacred Ceremony of Living.

TRECENA OF SEED/KAN
Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide for daily aspects and events of the Seed/KAN trecena.
1 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA)
Galactic Tone 1: Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.
Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.
Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA: Fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation. The word dragon means ”eye, to look at, to see clearly”. In China ley lines are called “dragon lines”; orgone energy, pyramid power, or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, known as vortexes. Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.
