MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
At Tone 7 we reach the peak of our climb. The energy is compared to reaching the top of a pyramid, or the crest of a wave. This is a balancing point where we are given the intention to reflect on the first 6 days of the trecena, our cycle of Spiritual Growth. The Tone 7 enhances our gifts of Reflection. 7 is also seen as a symbol of the Jaguar, the nahaul of vision who’s magic lies in its Gratitude and Love for Mother Earth.
Wind/IK is a Day Sign of the North, the place of the Ascended Masters and all their Wisdom. Wind is capable to ease our mind. At the top of a pyramid we can reflect on our experiences from all directions.
The glyph illustrates the portals in stone that were created to magnify the sound of the Wind. The portals were also used to view the position of the stars from where we came.
We stand in the place that is Highest to the Heavens. Wind/IK would be a mighty Force of Creation here. A vortex would carry our prayers to the Creator, like the Cherokee’s Day Sign, the Whirlwind. Wind is also capable of changing directions in a moment. We can be changed quickly too.
The Wisdom/CIB trecena connects us to the Old Ones. We could look around and acknowledge our Sense that Divine Beings walk with us. Our Ego is invested in its fear of failure when we face our greatest passion. We can Honor the Old Ones with our Gratitude for preserving Sacred Wisdom, and turn directly to them for help with any struggle of living that they have collectively experienced before.
Wind/IK is the Breath of Spirit that Called us to Life and the source of Connection among All Living Things. We are Balanced by Tone 7 in Wholeness. We are received at the top of the pyramid by the Old Ones who would help us reflect on our climb. They would encourage that however small our progress may seem, through our Intention we projected our own Force of Creation.
Our hardest work is over. On Tone 8 we will be joined by the Divine Agency that will assist in the process of transformation. Today we look back on our experience in different directions. We could look to the East, the direction of the new inspiration we received. To the South, we could reflect on the influence of our relationships, with one another and the world. In the West, we look directly into our Experience, our Emotional Response to the Experiences of Living. As we reflect on these 3, we will draw the Wisdom of the North, in Unity with the Old Ones.
The Old Ones that built the ancient sacred sites, created the Tzolk’in calendar that tracks Human’s Collective Transformation to the Consciousness of Creation. We are perpetually repeating the 13 Tones of Intention. Over and over again, we are walked through the 7 days and 6 nights of creation. Each time, led by a Day Sign that presents a different perspective of the Creator. We all learn in a different ways. To become Fully Conscious of Creation our Truth is proven in every direction of our Life, offered in the many ways we could understand.
To all my relations, may we draw the Breath of the Creator, and in the space between breaths, may we crystallize the Truth that we are One. Just by seeking a Higher Consciousness of the Creator, we have done everything we needed to do to receive the Full Blessing of Divine Justice. The Creator’s Purpose for Creation was Relationship. We fulfill a Sacred Intention when we choose a relationship by Free Will. May we hold Gratitude for all the Wisdom that was preserved by the Old Ones, and acknowledge that our own Success will be a Collective Accomplishment. May we Acknowledge the Wind as the Presence of the Force of Creation.

7 Wind/IK (Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA)
Galactic Tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of divine will. With a keen sense of ethics, Seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.
Wind/IK: Breath of Spirit, breath of life. Winds embody the power of dissemination and planting of good seeds or ideas. Dreamers and planners with powerful imaginations, Wind persons make great orators and they spread the word of spiritual inspiration as it is carried by the wind. Wind is the power behind the movement of natural cycles such as weather, erosion, and cultural change. As the wind, these persons are extremely changeable and adaptable. They may appear inconsistent or fickle to others. Wind can be destructive to self and others by putting on airs. When Winds strut and boast, expanding on facts and accomplishments, they are building the dark clouds of trouble that may become hurricanes.
Cherokee, Whirlwind/AGALU’GA: Whirlwind’s symbol is a double spiral helix in rising smoke. Wind brings energy for an Inquiring mind, learning and wisdom. In Cherokee, the constellations are represented by 12 birds (dancers), the 13th bird is the Whirlwind, the lead dancer. This reflects the whirling of life. Wind is the breath of the Universe (matching the Mayan symbol) channel of communication and carries the Sacred Smoke to the Great Spirit (Source- Hunab Ku in Mayan); matches the pulse of the breath of the Cosmos.
