MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Seed/KAN holds the power of our dreams as the embodiment of our Sacred Intention. Tone 3 presents the Intention of Movement. With our first step of action toward an Intention, our Dream takes on Life of its Own. What started as a substance of Ether, begins to follow its own Course, leading us from the first step to the next.
Like a Seed, each of our Dreams holds this inherent power. Our potent ideas lie dormant until we invest our energy, movement, and communication. Through a choice to move forward, we plant our Seed and a Spark of Life begins the process of its germination. We engage the Power of the Creation when we take the Leap of Faith that engages a Divine Force of Power. In our first movement we follow the Light we see that will move us from Point A to Point B… we are able to See our Self engaged in a course of manifestation.
Our Lower Self feels its first discomfort as it speculates on the “perceived failure” of Seeds we planted before. Our Higher Self knows there is no failure, only opportunities to see what more was needed for our Seed to grow. “Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past.” We are capable to draw Divine Discernment from our Higher Self that knows that every Seed holds possibility, when given the right conditions, and that there are many ways to accomplish the same thing. Even when Seed meets an immovable object, it holds the power to find its way around it – to seek the Light.
The Natural World reveals the Miracle of a Seed and in its Power as a Living Thing. The Divine Energy of our Intention is Powerful Enough to push through obstacles that appear impossible to overcome. We could wonder at this miracle of nature – how such a tiny and fragile thing can find it’s way through and around any obstacle.
We can stand in the Higher Truth that the Seed of our Intention holds this same measure of Power, when it is made worthy as an Offering of Atonement. Held in the Divine Hands of the Creator, our Dream is supported by a Divine Power to break through every obstacle that our Lower Self would discern as an impossibility. Aided by Divine Will, there is always a Way.
The Cherokee Day Sign, the Dragon, is the magic inside each Seed. Our Intention is an unseen force, that holds a design, a vision of what it would become. Our movement is an engagement of Faith in something we’ve only imagined could be. Our imagining is the work of our Higher Self. Our Lower Self is attached to the outcome. Our Higher Self sees our Intention as an opportunity to share an experience of Creation with the Creator.
Today I choose an Intention that has seemed like an impossibility. An Intention that was manifested in the last trecena offered a new Hope of Possibility. I learned that something I never considered possible – wasn’t so hard at all. Yet to get there, I was required to step over a few stones on the way. Even as I did, I was aware that the experience wasn’t as challenging as I expected. Though, it now seems like a faint light of hope to the Ego, my Higher Self sees that even the obstacles were worthy in seeing they didn’t have to stand in the way, as long as I was willing to keep moving through them.
The expression of our Fear is the Offering our Higher Self knows to present to the Creator. Walking as One, the Creator can empower us with the vision to see clearly past the illusion of our Ego. Our Higher Self knows that our Offering is the way of Atonement. Through a Divine Collaboration, we offer the Way of manifestation into the Hands of the Creator. May we remember that the essence of the Fire within each Seed is a Dream for Happiness and Love. Walking as One with the Creator we can rest in the Faith of Divine Justice. We can remember our Happiness and Harmony was the Highest Dream of the Creator.
Seed/KAN can remind us that our first step may seem the hardest. Once our Seed is planted, a Divine Energy is brought to Life. Our Dream will seek it’s own best way in and around every obstacle as long as we continue to offer our Love for it to grow. The Creator’s Light supports the Life of every living thing, and especially the Dreams offered to the Creator for the Highest Good of the Whole.
We learned of the Power of “as above, so below.” To manifest and Intention, we must first be able to see by Spirit as if it were already created. The Cherokee Day Sign for Seed is the Dragon, a universal symbol of Life Force and Creation. The word dragon means “eye, to look at, to see clearly.” The step we take today, will help us see something more clearly. In our pursuit of Divine Wisdom, no experience is a failure.
May we consider our Intention for this cycle as a Divine Experiment. We are operating from Higher Ground to manifest an experience as a Divine Co-Creator. May we clearly see that our Dream is already seen in its Highest Manifestation by a Divine Creator whose Highest Intention is that we Know our own Power of Creation.
To all my relations, may we begin our first movement as a Communication of Spirit. May we dare to imagine what life would be like if our Dream Came True. May we consider the Truth of the Blessing it could be to ourselves and others. May we remember that every Dream we are given has a Way to come true, and ask that a Divine Agency help shed this Light to our Lower Self, so we may be released from the fear of failures in our past. May we see the viability of this New Seed. Though it may look just like a seed we’ve planted before, through a New Intention, it’s given a New Life from Higher Ground. May we realize suffering is only experienced in our hesitation. We can experience the Breakthrough by our Higher Self as we take our first step. May we call on a Vision of our Dream as it would manifest with the help of Divine Intervention, so we can discern the possibility of a miracle. Offered to the Creator, our Harvest will be imagined by the Creator, and each next step offered will be in accordance with a Vision of Divine Design.

3 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA)
Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.
Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.
Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA O’STO: Dragon’s symbol is Draco winding between the Little Dipper and Big Dipper. Dragon is the Corn Spirit, symbol of dual personality of Corn Mother and Maiden; fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation. The word dragon means “eye, to look at, to see clearly”. Spirit brings energy of Lawgiver, Justice, vigilance and protective, loyal unto death. Ley lines in China are “dragon lines”, energy is sometimes called “orgone energy”, pyramid power or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, knon as vortexes. Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.
