4 Earth / CABAN – An Offering of Spirit: Day 4 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

4 Earth / CABAN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 4 brings the energy to stabilize our climb of new Spiritual Growth. Tone 4 sets the rules, orientation and parameters of a new way forward. We are given a clearer Sense of our Self, where we are, and where we are going.

Earth/CABAN draws us into Oneness with Mother Earth. The Natural World was given to us as the place of our Becoming. CABAN is a symbol of perpetual motion. Our Human transformation flows in synchronicity with her movement, and together we are synchronized within the universal movements of Heaven and Earth.

CABAN offers an awareness of ourselves as One in a Universal Movement. CABAN can bring us an experience of synchronicity. We may find ourselves in the right place at the right time for something unexpected.

Earth persons help to dispel bad intentions, habits and ideas. CABAN can help us shake off unproductive ways of thinking. Earth can move us away from old ways of Being. The Heron is compared to the Phoenix who rises from the ashes of its past.

The Aztec 4 Ollin is recognized as a day of the purified heart, signifying those moments where human beings may perceive what they are becoming. A good day for transmutation, which arrives like an earthquake that leaves in its wake the ruins of rationality, order and the preconceived. Aztec Calendar

The Aztec call this an auspicious day for the “active principle” and a bad day for the “passive principle.” Positioned within a spiral of perpetual rotation, our Stability resides in our Spiritual Center. Today brings the potential to shake us out of our preconceived reality.

4 Earth/CABAN offers us the stability of the 4 Directions, which reflect the Movement of Life. In our Center, we are anchored to the Up Above and Down Below.

To all my relations, may we turn to Mother Earth to Awaken our Supernatural Senses. May we press on, finding our stability in forward movement. May we dispel negative thoughts and intentions, and find our Center by returning our thoughts to Mother Earth. Mother Earth will always carry us from the Darkness to the next Light. May we stand on Mother Earth and watch the moon and stars go by. May we seek a Higher Discernment of Humanity. We are part of a Divine Plan, and One with Mother Earth’s Dance among the Stars.

in lak’ech, i am another you

4 Earth/CABAN (Cherokee, Heron/GUWI’SGUWI)

Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.

Earth/Caban: Earth/Caban: Keeper of the garden of Earth. Profound synchronistic connections to Earth’s natural cycles and energies provide power of creations and memories of ancient wisdom. Earth persons help dispel bad intentions, habits and ideas. This makes them very good counselors and masters of all arts. Studious and intelligent, Earth persons endeavor to bring a flow of natural order to all aspects of life. Being connected to the dynamic forces of nature, Earth persons need much liberty to facilitate their expression of migration or the sending of long distance communications such as the whales, elephants, birds and many other creatures. Sometimes Earth’s delicate sensitivities are upset resulting in quakes of emotion even the display of volcanic temper.

Cherokee, Heron/GUWI’SGUWI: Sign of movement, of perpetual motion, recycling, regeneration; environmentalists fighting for the underdog. Heron is mentally alert, rational, yet opinionated; has a great faith in people and in the divine plan, holding the magic of ministry, medicine, marketing and matchmaking; healing abilities, especially with crystals; negotiation and mediation energy. Heron is symbolized by Deneb, located in the Northern Cross beside the Milky Way.

[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
