6 Storm / CAUAC – An Offering of Spirit: Day 6 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

6 Storm / CAUAC

Greetings Kin,

5 Flint/ ETZNAB offered a clear reflection of our reality to expose a fear that’s covered up. If we looked deep within our Self, we could find that “acting out of character” is a Human response to the fear that we are powerless. Flint’s purpose was to sweep away an illusion that prevents us from seeing the Truth.

Tone 6 helps establish our momentum, through a new Sense of our Power and Purpose. Dynamic developments are made possible as Tone 6 elevates us to a Higher Discernment of our Humanity.

Storm/CAUAC brings a restoration of Spirit. The lightning of the storm is an unbridled Source of Power that connects Heaven and Earth. Storm/CAUAC offers a Spiritual Experience through the Senses of the Body to effect a Renewal and Regeneration of Body and Soul.

Storm exists to experience the ecstasy of freedom. While a tempest of trouble rages in the outside world, we are called to go within for the renewal and regeneration of our Personal Power. When we return to our Center of Divine Spirit, our way of moving in the world takes on the confidence and momentum of Knowing our Source of Unlimited Power.

The Cherokee Day Sign, Redbird, symbolizes the gift of “lightning in the blood.” This energy that “bestirs the blood to speak” is Human’s Sixth Sense of Knowing. A Redbird was a symbol of the presence of this “lightning energy” in the sky. 6 Storm/CAUAC marks a Regeneration of Spirit through the physical body.

Our Supernatural Gifts are part of who we are. We don’t have to work to attain them, only notice they exist. CAUAC can restore us through an awareness to our Spiritual Senses.

The Jaguar/IX trecena has been guiding us to explore our Magic that is born of Gratitude and Appreciation for Mother Earth. Jaguar has the power to shape-shift and travel to any place, time, and way of being. We’ve been Offered a Journey made by Spirit.

Our Gratitude will naturally lead us to Faith. Faith is the momentum that will help us complete a climb of Spiritual Growth. We are a Seed of our New Self. A Seed in the process of germination Feels the First Spark of Life, and must Operate on Faith to reach the Light.

The IMIX trecena brought us to Life and encouraged the Dream of our New Self. Our work through the IX trecena is to be the Seed that gathers what is needed. We send down roots for the nourishment and foundation for an upward climb.

We can send down roots through an Intention of Faith. Standing in Faith we can see the Beauty of the World Now. We can only create what we are able to see and imagine. Now is the Time and the Place to Believe in the Power of Unconditional Love and Know this is the Spark of the Creator we hold inside. Our Faith is a Sacred Offering of Spirit to the Whole.

Through the lightning of Storm/CAUAC we can Feel our Connection to the Creator. We can Act on the Faith of our Supernatural Gifts to navigate the Seen and Unseen. Faith can be our Strategy to overcome the Illusion of Powerlessness.

To all my relations, may we give thanks to the Creator for a Spiritual Regeneration. May we stand in the Truth that Human was created for a Divine Purpose, which an Almighty Creator can fulfill. In Stillness, like the Jaguar, may we turn to our Senses to explore a world within. May we discover the Supernatural Way that Human exists as both a Body and a Spirit. Sense all our Surroundings. May an Intention of Faith become a a pattern of movement that becomes second nature.

in lak’ech, i am another you

6 Storm/CAUAC (Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA)

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Storm/Cauac: Day of the blessing of rain, giver of all life and lightening, a gift of nitrogen to Mother Earth and ozone to Father Sky. Cauac is also associated with the moon and the cycles of the moon, which are the meter of the feminine aspect of creation. The essence of Storm is the feeling of unity, security and warmth experienced in the home while the tempest of trouble rages in the world outside. Perpetually youthful, Storms exist to experience the ecstasy of freedom. They have the great capacity to both learn and teach. Their constant quest for novel experiences often leads to difficult tests and storms of emotion. Looking at these difficulties for the lessons they indeed are, will enrich our lives rather than destroy. Cauac individuals teach much through their electricity of being. Lightning energizes earth, this same energy energizes humans. Divine connections can be accessed.

Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA: Redbird’s symbol is Alcyone of the Pleiades Star in constellation Taurus.  Alcyone is the Central Sun of the Universe, heart of heaven. Lightning is the visible evidence of the presence of Redbird Spirit in the Sky, daughter of the Sun Spirit, sign of Fire, Sun’s alter ego on Earth. Redbird is a feminine sign; the hand that rocks the cradle. The symbol of nurturing, the lightning nurtures and energizes, with energy for zest, curiosity, imagination, and ideas. Lightning adds spiritual force to the human by way of “lightning of the blood” of a healer, directly body to body vibration. The key to spiritual communication and access to the wisdom of the Ancestors lies in the ability to bestir the blood to speak. Sacred stones such as flint, obsidian, crystal are created by lightning striking the ground.

[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
