11 Seed / KAN – An Offering of Spirit: Day 11 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

11 Seed / KAN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 11 brings the Intention of Resolution that would bring clarity to a new Understanding. Tone 11 is dynamic energy that facilitates change, simplification and improvement.

Seed/KAN represents family, sexual activity, and the magic of germination. Seed brings the energy to free us from debt or our oppressive patterns of the past.

Seed offers the courage to make a profound investigation of our Self, so we can gather what is needed. and place ourselves in the right environment to grow. Seed is said to reveal hidden traps and negative influences. Those born as Seed are defenders of the people, and are capable to navigate around obstacles.

The Cherokee Day Sign, the Dragon, is the energy of Life Force that germinates a Seed. The Dragon is said to help us to see clearly. Seed can help us find our place where Spirit can exist in the realm of physicality.

Seed/KAN helps us find the place where we can live in the Truth of our Authenticity. We are called to “Know Thy Self” and make the choices that support who we are. From the principle of “As Above, So Below” we learned our reality is created from what we imagine. Seed calls us to separate ourselves from circumstances that draw us into negativity. It’s our right and responsibility to claim our own fertile soil.

In the 2nd Uinal we are still in the latter stages of our germination. We could think of vulnerability of the sprout that is just breaking through the soil. We still can’t see what we will become, though we hold a dream. This is a time of setting the fence posts and boundaries that would protect us through a vulnerable stage of our growth.

We have been navigating a Journey in the Spirit world, that must now come down to Earth. After a Vision Quest, the Elders advise that we keep our Spiritual Experiences to our Self for a time. They called it “holding your power.” The Truth of our experience can be diminished when we try to put it into words. And, as soon as we speak of it, we define an experience that holds dynamic potential or a deeper discernment.

We have reached the sunlight and are prepared for accelerated growth. We are guided to prepare the soil where we can grow. We must lay the boundaries that allow us the time and space we need to nurture our own Spirit. As we “clearly see” our Self, we are called to find the place where we “fit in” – the place where we are Free to Be Our Self.

We may find our self discerning new boundaries and limits that would define our future choices. We are changing as we grow. What may have “reasonable” behavior in the past, may reveal itself as incompatible with our new way of seeing things. Seed is the defender that can help us stand in our authenticity.

“Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.” Our perfect place of Being is found where we are capable to hear the heartbeat of the Mother.

To all my relations, may we have the courage to look at our Self and our Environment and to make the Higher Choices for our Self that insure we can continue to live our Life Purpose and Soul Mission. May we hold our most intimate experiences of Spirit to our Self, like a gem that we would keep in a safe place where we could take it out and admire it as something of our Own. May we have Faith that the Creator can guide us away from the obstacles that would stand in our way.

in lak’ech, i am another you

11 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA)

Galactic Tone 11: Resolution; 11 assists every new thing to find its place in the universe in the process of ‘fitting in.’ some modifications must occur. Eleven is the energy of dynamic actions facilitating change, simplification and improvement.

Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.

Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA   O’STO: Dragon’s symbol is Draco winding between the Little Dipper and Big Dipper. Dragon is the Corn Spirit, symbol of dual personality of Corn Mother and Maiden; fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation. The word dragon means “eye, to look at, to see clearly”. Spirit brings energy of Lawgiver, Justice, vigilance and protective, loyal unto death. Ley lines in China are “dragon lines”, energy is sometimes called “orgone energy”, pyramid power or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, known as vortexes. Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
