5 Serpent / CHICCHAN – A New Dawning: Day 5 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

5 Serpent / CHICCHAN

Serpent lights the fuse that magnifies and explodes the life force itself. ~ Cherokee Sacred Calendar

Greetings Kin,

All the conditions are right and good for the Seed of our Dream to take hold in the Womb of our Mother. IMIX that leads this trecena is the Primordial Mother that holds us in the Void of all possibility.

On Tone 5 we are ignited by Serpent/CHICCHAN, the catalyst that brings Life to our Consciousness that our Seed is growing inside. We all share the same Dream of Happiness and Love. There are many ways to accomplish this same thing. We don’t have to know what they are when we surrender our Dream to the Creator. We make possible an unlimited number of ways for our Dream to come true.

Serpent/CHICCHAN is the Day Sign of “lightning in the blood.” CHICCHAN awakens our Intuition and Knowing through the blood that moves through our body. Our blood is the water that holds the Ether of Spirit. Our Spark is the pulse that beats in rhythm with our Mother Earth. We will discern this Truth by something we Feel. Through a language without words, we will simply Know our Oneness with the Creator.

11 Serpent / CHICCHAN – Flight of Higher Vision: Day 11

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

11 Serpent / CHICCHAN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 11 brings Resolution for a new Understanding. Serpent/CHICCHAN is the catalyst that “lights the fuse” of a Divine Force within. Tone 11 offers the dynamic energy to facilitate a change as CHICCHAN ignites a Transformation of Body and Soul. The Serpent is capable to shed its old skin to be made new.

CHICCHAN is the symbol of “lightning in the blood,” our sixth sense of Knowing that “bestirs the blood to speak.” This is a day when our Whole Self is brought to a Higher Awareness of the Creator, and our Divine Spark within.

Tone 11 is the day that the shaman makes the climb to the Highest Altar. In this place we would offer our Self, and kneel in Humility to receive a Divine Blessing. Through a baptism of Spirit, we are drawn into Unity with the Creator. CHICCHAN empowers us with the Spiritual Gift to Claim our rightful identity as Divine Creators.

4 Serpent / CHICCHAN – Living as a Creator: Day 4

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

4 Serpent/CHICCHAN

Greetings Kin,

Serpent/CHICCHAN is the catalyst, the Spark that Lights the Fuse to Life Force itself. This is a day of “Lightning in the Blood.” This is a very important day to pay attention to your gut instincts. Seed and the Serpent go together. Seed is dormant until it’s placed in the ground where it is ignited with a Force of Life.

Our Higher Self relates to Sources of Consciousness as its way of understanding, knowing that every Living Thing holds a Consciousness of the Creator.  Chicchan is an Archetype that personifies this very Force of Life.

The Wind/IK trecena is guiding us to explore our Higher Self as the Divine Creator. We’re drawn to discern two sides of our Self. Wind is showing us how to Create from the Higher Self, the One who is in Atonement with the Divine Creator. Our Lower Self can make the Choice of Offering itself to permit this Divine Transfer of Power.

Today is the Global Burner, a release of pent up energy. All Global Burners are on Tone 4 of Stability (4 Sun/AHAU, 4 Eagle/MEN, 4 Dog/OC, and 4 Serpent/CHICCHAN).  The Maya observe Global Burners with Sacred Fire Ceremonies, for the purpose of restoring Harmony in the Community. Each season offers a day for coming together in a Mutual Intention to leave personal resentments, disappointments, and any resistance to Love in the past. We might observe this day by writing the concerns we would release on a piece of paper, and offering it to the Element of Fire.

4 Serpent/Chicchan is a is a turning point in our Relationship with our Higher Self. Through a catalytic force, Chicchan can restore the Unity of Body and Soul.

10 Serpent / CHICCHAN – Path of Higher Learning: Day 10

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S BLOG

10 Serpent / CHICCHAN

Greetings Kin,

“Chicchan lights the fuse that magnifies and explodes the Life Force itself.” (Cherokee, Serpent/DO’TSI VK)

Tone 10 brings an important day of Manifestation. In the trecena led by CIB, we are manifesting the Divine Wisdom of Higher Consciousness through the Experience of Forgiveness. We’re guided by Divine Agency through a new Transformation.

We have been learning about our Power to Heal the world, planting a Seed that was Given by the Creator. The Old Ones Know that this Divine Wisdom stretches the limits of our Belief. Serpent/CHICCHAN offers the Power through which our Wisdom can be Known as Truth throughout our entire Being.

Serpent/CHICCHAN is a Catalyst that ignites Divine Energy within our physicality. The Day Sign known for bringing “lightning in the blood” awakens our Spiritual Gifts of Intuition and Telepathy – the Gift of Knowing something that can’t be Seen. This day is a Sacred Event we are given to Acknowledge and Claim our Spiritual Body.

11th Uinal: Manifestation of Resolution – The 11th Uinal is a Higher Influence upon the Wisdom/CIB trecena. We are always processing two cycles together, the progression of the 20 Day Signs (13 uinals), and the perpetual cycles of Creation (20 13-day trecenas). Together they are the 2 factors defining Human Creation (260) – 20 fingers and toes (our instinctual way of reasoning), and 13 major joints in the body (the way we are able to move in the world). The 13 numbers are important, representing the Divine Chronology and Order of Creation. The sum of the Day Signs is the Alpha and Omega – the Sacred 19 is the Signature of God. The Maya counted the last Day Sign, Sun/AHAU as the zero, the beginning and the end.

As we progress through the uinals we follow that same wave of energy we experience in each trecena, on a larger scale. This 11th uinal is among the uinals of the Highest Energy – approaching 13, the energy that connects us to the Power of the Creator. 11 represents the intention of Resolution. This is our first Tone of Manifestation on this larger scale. An energy of Resolution holds the Power to Manifest a new and unknown piece of Truth that will help us to assimilate what we’ve learned into our Body of Wisdom. 10 Serpent/CHICCHAN gives us a Powerful Day to See and Claim a Higher Truth.

3 Serpent / CHICCHAN – Transformation of Possibility: Day 3

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

3 Serpent / CHICCHAN

Greetings Kin,

Serpent/CHICCHAN guides our first day of Movement on Tone 3. On Tone 3 we execute an agreement between a Point A and Point B by acting on an Intention to move forward. Through a movement or a communication, our Intention takes on an energy and vibration of its own. Through an Intention, an Ether moves from the realm of Spirit into a form we Experience in the physical world.

Our first Experience is the reality of something we imagined. Serpent/CHICCHAN offers us a fluidity and flexibility of movement that can adapt to the new understanding that movement brings.

CHICCHAN ignites our “Lightning in the Blood.” Our Supernatural Gifts are heightened by a Sense of Knowing. The Serpent triggers our gut instincts and sensations described as “hair-raising” that may accompany a revelation.  Serpents sense the presence of their predators and prey by the vibration of the Earth.

Serpent/CHICCHAN lights the fuse that ignites our Passion. Our movement will be guided by a Physical Sense of Knowing. As our Passion engages an Intention of Movement, we can be led by an Inner Sense of Knowing.

9 Serpent / CHICCHAN – Discovering Our Dynamic World: Day 9

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

9 Serpent / CHICCHAN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 9 brings an Intention of Patience. Tone 9 warns that something important would be missed if we fail to see the bigger picture. We’ve been guided to see Earth/CABAN as a reflection of who we are. Just as we see Spring happening around us, it’s happening within us as well.

Yesterday, Seed/KAN reminded us of its magic that comes to life by a connection made to Earth. We are the Seed, made of the elements of Earth. Human’s magic is created together. An Awakening of Spiritual Wisdom is the Blossoming of our Spring, beheld as our Beauty in the Eyes of the Creator.

Serpent/CHICCAN is the Day Sign that ignites our Spiritual Fire. CHICCHAN awakens us to the Language of the Heart through an initiation of “Lightning in the Blood.”

PORTAL DAY: Element of Ether  – Portal days offer a thinning of the veil between dimensions. Tone 9 is also a Peak Day of energy. The already Powerful Energy of 9 Serpent/CHICCHAN will be magnified by a Portal. We’re offered an opportunity to re-experience and Feel our own Magic. This is a day offering a special gift of Intuition and Knowing as a Peak Spiritual Experience. Tone 9 would remind us that those around us can Sense things too. Continue reading

2 Serpent / CHICCHAN – Engaging our Dynamic Potential: Day 2

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

2 Serpent / CHICCHAN

Greetings Kin,

Serpent/CHICCHAN “lights the fuse that magnifies and explodes the life force itself.”  Like the Seed, Serpent is also a symbol of energetic forces called “lightning in the blood.” CHICCHAN is a wake-up call to our Intuitive Senses, and is the Day Sign that precedes each of the 10-day portals on the Tzolk’in.

CHICCHAN can ignite our Supernatural Senses as we enter a Portal that gives us a Vision beyond a veil. We have been feeling the energies close to our Core to find our Balance. This Portal is held in an Intention of Divine Justice. This is the Power and Intention that would manifest the Fullness of our Human Birthright.

Tone 2 presents us with our Sacred Choice for a new Intention. Through the reflection of Duality, we make a choice “to be or not to be.” Even the engagement of our Dynamic Capabilities is a Choice of Free Will. Something will call us, whether it is a new direction, a new way of living, or an old Dream we Loved but never Believed enough. We will Know what it is.  Today we consider how it would be accomplished, what it could look like, and whether we Love it enough to offer our dedicated commitment. We use our faculties in consideration of a Choice.
