9 Offering / MULUC – A New Dawning: Day 9 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

9 Offering / MULUC

Greetings Kin,

9 Offering/MULUC is the Peak Tone of Transformation in the trecena of our New Dawning. With the help of a Divine Agency, 8 Star/LAMAT raised awareness to our True Identity as a Personification of Light, illuminated by the Light of the Creator.

Tone 9 offers a Transformation that can only be experienced by looking at the bigger picture. As Tone 8 raised our Consciousness to who we are, Tone 9 completes the Inspiration of our Life’s Divine Purpose. Our Light was meant to shine equally in all directions. We were meant to live in a way that would be an Inspiration to the Whole.

Offering/MULUC is the Day Sign of Atonement. Through an Offering of Our Self, we are made One with the Creator’s Intention of Divine Justice. Our Life’s Purpose is to reflect the Truth of this Blessing to the Whole. MULUC guides us to an expansion of Consciousness that the Light of the Creator was meant for us to share. The heavens were created with billions of stars that were meant to shine together.

9 Wisdom / CIB – Fledgling Flight of Ascension: Day 9 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

9 Wisdom / CIB

Greetings Kin,

“Owl is the Mystic Ferryman who guides Earthlings on the return path to the stars holding the torch aloft.” ~Cherokee Sacred Calendar

9 Wisdom/CIB is the last peak day of this trecena. A Divine Agency is engaged in the process of our Transformation. The Cherokee Owl helps us to find our place among the stars by shining a Light of Forgiveness.

Tone 9 calls for our patience. There is something more for us to see by looking again, from our Higher Perspective. The Wisdom/CIB glyph illustrates the mind in its Highest State of Consciousness, made possible by Forgiveness.

When we think of forgiveness, our first thoughts may be of the forgiveness we resist offering to others. What’s most obvious and personal are the resentments we hold against each other. As we are in a transformation to our own Higher Consciousness, Tone 9 asks us to look beyond our first understanding so we can see where we haven’t forgiven our Self.

9 Night / AKBAL – Flight of Higher Vision: Day 9

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

9 Night / AKBAL

Greetings Kin,

Tone 9 is a day of Peak Energy that completes an elevation of Consciousness. Tone 9 offers us the Patience to consider a new Understanding from a broader perspective. As Humans we draw Wisdom from our own Experience, though a Higher Truth can be discovered when we consider how our Truth applies to the Whole.

Night/AKBAL is the Day Sign that speaks to us in our Dreams. Through a direct communication of Spirit, our Wisdom can be expanded by a Divine Perspective.

The Eagle/MEN trecena initiates our intuitive ability to see into the future. The Eagle is considered a sign of success in business, based on a higher perspective and long-range vision. Eagle plots the shortest course to its prey, intuitively discerning its navigation and timing to a moving object.

Eagle leads the “first leg” of a journey to the Highest Ascension of the Tzolk’in round… our journey through the 13th Uinal of Ascension. The Eagle/MEN trecena is our final cycle of “Light” (Inspiration) for a Flight we will make on our Own. Star/LAMAT is the final trecena, a cycle of “Darkness.” The “Light” will be “turned off” for us to apply the Sum of our own Truth to effect an Ascension of Divine Wisdom. Stars emit their own Light. Star/LAMAT leads a Transformation to a Personification of Light.

9 Night/AKBAL is the final Peak Day of the Eagle trecena, and the day that prepares us for our Highest Climb ahead. “The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.” AKBAL completes our Transformation with an in-pouring of Light.

9 Dog / OC – Living as a Creator: Day 9

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

9 Dog / OC

Greetings Kin,

Tone 9 calls for our Patience. This is a day of a Divine Intervention that will facilitate the process of our new Transformation. Tone 9 offers an energy of Enlightenment  that helps us understand the Divine Laws of Love, Karma, and our own Soul Purpose. When we receive a Divine Discernment that would heal our Emotions and establish a Right Relationship with our Self, our “fair exchange” for the Gift is by extending that Gift to the Whole.

Through a Higher Discernment, we remember we are only One in the whole family of Humanity that is struggling to know its Self, and to Live in the Truth of Authenticity. The Truth we were given to restore Peace and Harmony within, is our own currency of Divine Justice.

Dog/OC is the Day Sign of Unconditional Love. Dog lives for the next opportunity to give and receive Love. We are given a demonstration of how a new Love of our Self is a gift that will help us complete our Divine Purpose.

9 Earth / CABAN – A Journey as One: Day 9

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

9 Earth / CABAN

Greetings Kin,

Peak Tone 9 is an important day in the process of our new Transformation. We may have already seen the evidence of our changes in process. Tone 9 calls for our Patience with a warning of “suffering” if we don’t look deeper.  The suffering we might hope to avoid is likely something Already Self-Imposed. By looking more deeply into the implications of what we are learning, we can be released from a suffering we already carry.

ALL our suffering can be healed by Mother Earth. Among our greatest challenges is the Sense we are all alone, different from the rest, and never sure what the next day might bring. Mother Earth is the heavenly body that carries us. Our Place in the Universe is in the womb of this Mother. Earth/CABAN is a day when we would find our comfort in hearing her beating heart.

Earth/CABAN brings us into Oneness with the Forces of Nature. We are able to see our connection in the continuing flow of life, through personal, planetary, and universal cycles of life, death and regeneration. Peak Tone 9 asks for us to look at the bigger picture.

The Cherokee Heron is a symbol of perpetual movement. As the world turns no one day is like another. The experiences of today will never return in exactly the same way. When we face a similar situation again, we will approach it in a new way.

Earth/CABAN draws us to look at our own change over time. We haven’t stayed the same. If we look to our own history, we can see troubles that seemed too big to overcome are now resolved in the memories of our past. What, at one time, may have felt like an insurmountable problem, may even appear as a small accomplishment to us now. CABAN is a symbol of the Knowledge we gain through our movement and experience. This is a good day to seek wise counsel and to draw new wisdom from our Intellect.

9 Seed / KAN – Path of Higher Learning: Day 9

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

9 Seed / KAN

Greetings Kin,

Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.” ~ Robert Louis Stevenson

The Peak Energy of Tone 9 calls for our patience to see a broader perspective. We could miss the Higher Purpose of what we are learning, by not looking more deeply into our own Inspiration.

Seed/KAN holds the dynamic potential for us to create something new. We are guided by Seed/KAN to see our place as co-creators in the world. And, we are called to participate in the Earth magic that transforms a Seed from a dormant grain into a full-grown living thing.

Seed holds the evidence of the miracles all around us. Some seeds are so small they can barely been seen, yet within the tiny seed is encoded thousands of pages of information that define what it will be. When seed is given the right conditions it begins its miraculous transformation into something millions of times greater than itself.

seed smallCould we even imagine this is possible, if we hadn’t seen the miracle for ourselves?

Seed is a symbol that reflects who We Are. The Maya revered Corn as the symbol of all the people in all the colors we are. And the Tzolk’in of 260 days reflects the gestation cycle of corn that is correspondent with Human gestation.

Like the seed, we are growing to become exponentially greater than we are in our beginning. And, like the seed, the monumental process of our growth is barely recognizable from one day to the next. Our Faith needed to Manifest our Highest Aspiration will rest in the Worthiness we Believe is held in our Intention – the Seed we plant.

The Cherokee Day Sign, the Dragon, is the Corn Spirit, which symbolizes the duality of the Corn Mother and Maiden, holding the power of fertility and pro-creation for each generation. A single seed of corn holds the power of fertility and abundance to multiply itself to reproduce a whole garden within a single generation. The “dragon energy” of Seed is the Holy Fire of Creation that generates our Spiritual Harvest.

The Dragon offers the capability to “See Clearly.” Seed encourages our “profound investigations” into self. We are asked to consider the Seeds we would sow. We must cultivate our garden, gathering what is needed and clearing away the debris of our past. Tone 9 asks us to see the Rest of the Truth about our Self.

Seed holds the potential to affect future generations… the Power to Change the World. 8 Night/AKBAL showed us how to Heal Our Self, yet we only addressed the Fault We Know We Deny… those closest to our own Experience. From the broader perspective of Tone 9, we would consider Mother Earth and the Whole of Humanity as a Higher Purpose of Intention.

The chaos of the world is the reflection of our Own Darkness. We are also self-serving, taking more than we give. We are also dishonest, covering up the darkest truth about our Self. And, we also leave our footprint on Mother Earth. When we can accept the Truth that the outer darkness is our collective reflection, we hold the Power to Heal the World.

Seed/KAN connects us to the Heartbeat of the Earth. As a Day Sign of the South, KAN relates to our relationships with one another and with the Natural World. Holding the Power of Reproduction and Germination, Tone 9 asks us to plant the Seed of Forgiveness on behalf of Mother Earth and all the Corn People.

To all my relations, may we have the Patience on Tone 9 for Seed/KAN to reveal the Higher Purpose of our Way of Forgiveness. As we lay down the blame that sees only the fault in others, we would cry the Tears of Forgiveness to Heal the World. As we evaluate the worthiness of this Intention, there’s no doubt our Seed would serve the Highest Intention of the Creator. We would take our own place among the people, full-grown by a Seed of Sacred Wisdom, to become the Old Ones who preserve New Sacred Wisdom, the Inheritance for Future Generations.

In lak’ech, I am another you

9 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon/ UKTE’NA   O’STO)

Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine, plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.

Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.

Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA   O’STO: Dragon’s symbol is Draco winding between the Little Dipper and Big Dipper. Dragon is the Corn Spirit, symbol of dual personality of Corn Mother and Maiden. Fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation. The word dragon means ” eye, to look at, to see clearly”.  Spirit brings energy of Lawgiver, Justice, vigilance and protective, loyal unto death. Ley lines in China are “dragon lines”, energy is sometimes called “orgone energy”, pyramid power or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, known as vortexes. Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.

9 Monkey / CHUEN – Transformation of Possibility: Day 9

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

9 Monkey / CHUEN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 9 encourages our Patience to look at the Big Picture. Monkey/CHUEN is the Master of all Art that Creates the tapestry of our life – weaving all our Experiences together. We learn that Wisdom and Experience go together, with one Truth building upon another. We miss something when we overlook the Higher Purpose of the Whole.

Tone 9 is the number of the Moon, and the aspects of the Divine Feminine for the Discernment of our Emotions.  Tone 9 also relates to “cause and effect” in matters of Spirit. Our Spiritual Experiences are balanced with the Physical World in an equal and opposite way. We have to “give up” to win, be vulnerable to find our strength, and die to be reborn. Monkey/CHUEN holds the Beauty of Every Experience in perfect balance.
