2 Road / EB – Witness to a Miracle: Day 2 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

2 Road / EB (Human)

Greetings Kin,

Monkey/CHUEN inspires our Dreams of Creation. The Core Days of the Tzolk’in like at the center of the Galactic Butterfly. We are crystallizing a new image of our identity as Divine Co-Creators.

The New Moon in Scorpio, November 18th offers the energy of regeneration and synchronizes the energy to recreate our Self. Scorpio will challenge us to release our old ideas about our Self through a process of letting go.

Tone 2 brings an Energy for Discernment. As we see new potential within our Self, we can step into the new shoes of life as we would dream it to be.

Road/EB is the Day Sign of the Human and the Road to our Destiny. Under the Tone 2, we are discerning the Choices we would make for our future. Tone 2 represents the energy of Duality. As Human, we arrive at discernment by comparing the opposite extremes of polarity. We look at the “good” and “bad,” the “possible” and “impossible.” With a new sense of the Power of our Authority, the “degree” of “happiness” vs “unhappiness” we create is within our Power to Choose.

Standing in the Balance of uinal 7, we can see all that is and all that is not. Emerging from an Ascension of Love and Wisdom of Divine Authority, we are no longer limited by the discernment of possibility. The choice is wholly up to us. This is a place of our most important dreams. What we crystallize as our Dream will be carried out through the rest of this Tzolk’in round with the aide of Divine Intervention. Anything we could hope for holds the potential “to be or not to be.” We’re only limited by what we can imagine.

Road/EB reflects the Destiny of Human as the Journey of Life. The glyph illustrates the Road of our Destiny on Human’s head. Where we end up is determined by our choices. The Gift of Unconditional Love means we can always choose again. There is no choice we could make that would disqualify us or make us unworthy of the Harmony and Happiness that a Creator made possible in our life. Walking between the two worlds of darkness and light, we are bound to make some wrong turns. We  never have to see our situation as hopeless due to a wrong choice. We might consider the magnitude of this Gift of Unconditional Love. No matter what we do, we will never be turned away or denied the Divine Support to change.

From the perspective of a Creator, we are drawn to Higher Consciousness and Wisdom by every experience. I’ve considered the “school of hard knocks” as the hardest way to learn. Yet, the Wisdom that comes from trial and failure bears the Truth of Experience.

Today we can crystallize the Dream of the way we would employ our Power to Create.  We have the Power to Choose from Pure Spirit. The Intention we choose for the Monkey/CHUEN trecena will be completed by Divine Agency. What would you Dream if you knew your prayer would be answered?

The Cherokee Day Sign, the Rattlesnake Tooth, is a symbol of Sacred Medicine. The Rattlesnake Tooth was used to break the skin in a Sacred Ceremony of Healing. A Divine Healing would leave a mark to remember as a turning point. The Road/EB glyph illustrates the milestones on either side of the Road of Destiny. This is an important time to look at the major turning points in our life. We already hold the memories of darkness transformed by light.

My thoughts have been turned to the challenges in my life that took a long time to resolve. Yet, in hindsight, the proof is there of their resolution. Human is described as the “bearer of time.” Some of our challenges are transitory. They can be resolved quickly with Conscious effort. Our most significant changes are hard-won over the test of time. Human is inclined to forget what is easy, but we never forget what took us years to accomplish.

The Monkey/CHUEN trecena marks a milestone of accomplishment that can change our life in miraculous ways.

To all my relations, may we crystallize the vision of our Highest Aspirations, imagining that our Dreams are Possible. As we prepare for a new cycle of Spiritual Growth, may we be free of self-doubt and the fear of the illusion of impossibility. May our eyes are open to unlimited answers and our own Power to Create.

in lak’ech, i am another you

21 DAYS of GRATITUDE: Day 2
1 Monkey/CHUEN marked 21 days to the K’iche Maya New Year celebrated on 8 B’atz (8 Monkey/CHUEN). Observing 21 days of prayer and sacred ceremony is a traditional preparation for the observance of the Tzolk’in calendar New Year, which is also the Initiation of the Mayan Daykeepers.

2 Road/EB (Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA)

Galactic Tone 2: Mysterious as the question ‘to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.

Road/EB: The bearer of time and conductor of destiny; also known as Human; these persons open the road and guide to the future groups, communities and individuals alike. Likable, obedient, dedicated hard workers and organizers, Road persons are fortunate in business and travel. Many become care takers of the poor, sick, or old people, where they may make personal sacrifices. Road is sometimes referred to as the sign of grass, which is the most bountiful of all life forms, but is also the most humble. Road persons are affectionate and emphatic; they are easily hurt but slow to anger. Holding in of negative emotions and unexpressed resentment can lead to illness, a poisoned opinion of others and a false bravado for this sun sign.

Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA: Symbolized by a rainbow, the delicate display of electromagnetic rays of the SUN. Rattlesnake Tooth is the Natal day sign of Medicine, the Shaman, the Priest, the Healer, and the Sorcerer.  Guardian of the Way, Keeper of the Keys of the secret Kingdom.
