7 Storm / CAUAC – Building an Altar: Day 7 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

7 Storm / CAUAC

Greetings Kin,

On Tone 7 we’ve completed our climb of spiritual growth. As a Tone of Reflection helps to establish future goals by helping us see things as they really are. On Tone 7 we stand in the balance of what we have created by our own effort and what can be completed through Divine Reciprocity.

Storm/CAUAC symbolizes the Lightning that connects Heaven and Earth. Lightning is a Spectacle of the Power from Heaven that Blesses the Earth with with nitrogen to bring New Life. Today we are regenerated through a gift of “lightning in the blood.”

Tone 7 is a Holy Place at the top of the pyramid. We make an Offering of our Dream, reflecting on all we Hoped for and what we actually accomplished. We are measured for a Transformation that will complete what is needed through a Divine Intervention.

The lightning of the storm is an unbridled Source of Power that connects Heaven and Earth. Storm/CAUAC offers a Spiritual Experience through the Senses of the Body. Storm/CAUAC offers a Spark from the Creator for a restoration of Spirit.

The number 7 is associated with a Spiritual Awakening. 7 empowers mysticism, intuition and psychic abilities. The Cherokee Redbird holds correspondent meaning as a totem that activates “lightning in the blood” or “sixth sense.” 7 Storm/CAUAC offers a Peak Experience that restores Faith and Hope in our Dream.

The Reed/BEN trecena offers a Way to Manifesting Harmony in our Relationships. Flint/ETZNAB revealed a personal limitation in our way of investing ourselves in our own Intention. Maybe the task became harder than we thought it would be. As our Hearts were turned to Home, maybe we Dreamed of the smiling faces around the dinner table, but left out of the picture was the mundane effort that makes that harmony possible.

Through reflection we can see where we succeeded and where we fell short of accomplishing our Intention. Through Divine Intervention we will receive a regeneration of “lightning energy.”

This wonderful little boy named Julian has suddenly come into my life to help with the trash. It started with him showing up at the dumpster to offer a hand. From there it progressed to front-door visits to see if I had any trash. It’s morphing into a small part-time job for this boy who turns 9 years old today. I recalled how I had been thinking of hiring some help, and how if I had a little help with the trash, I’d be more motivated to clear things out. He’s been an unexpected angel.

He’s begun to knock on the door a LOT. Now he routinely comes by as many as 3 times a day asking for trash. Yesterday he made 5 visits. After the first trash visit, he came by to ask if I knew how to bake a blackberry pie. He was heading out to pick berries and wondered how many he would need. It sunk in that he wanted ME to bake the pie. We’re in the middle of a heat wave with no air conditioning. Baking is not an option I would consider, as long as cold showers are the only way to cool off.

Though, it raised an awareness that Julian was in need of something more from me. I’d first thought the equal exchange would be as easy as an ice pop and a $1 each time he collected the trash. I’d wondered why he spends so much time outside going from door to door. He didn’t say, but I assumed he wanted to bake the pie WITH ME. Was he in need of a sanctuary, as well as my time and personal attention?  I saw how my “equal exchange” fell short of what was really needed. I realized that what was special about Julian, was that he gave beyond the limits of what one expects of the average 8 years old. He deserves for me to do the same in return.

How this will play out lies ahead as an unknown experience that calls questions about my personal limitations. There is no doubt that Julian appeared for a Divine Reason. He’s already an encouragement to Give Love as it is needed in the one-to-one.

In the 3rd Uinal of Movement we see the action that is needed to bring Life to our Intentions. We are moving toward a Realization of where we need the help of a Divine Agency. CAUAC is a Day Sign of Lighting Energy that regenerates our Strength of Spirit.

The Cherokee, Redbird, brings the energy of healing that can be exchanged through direct contact with each other. Redbird holds the energy of the Divine Feminine that nurtures and energizes our zest for life, our curiosity, and our imagination. Lightning adds Spiritual Force to Human’s Power to be a healer.

To all my relations, as we reflect on the strength and weakness of our effort to manifest an Intention of Harmony, may we give thanks for the promise of an Intervention of Divine Power. Just as our Dreams were Divinely Inspired, so will Divine Agency share in the effort of manifestation. A Divine Agency helps us maintain the Purity of our Intention by providing a connection to unbridled energy that connects Heaven and Earth. May we draw awareness to the Signs of a Transformation that will be generated by Divine Power.

7 Storm/CAUAC (Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA)

Galactic Tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of Divine Will. With a keen sense of ethics, Seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.

Storm/Cauac: Day of the blessing of rain, giver of all life and lightening, a gift of nitrogen to Mother Earth and ozone to Father Sky. Cauac is also associated with the moon and the cycles of the moon, which are the meter of the feminine aspect of creation. The essence of Storm is the feeling of unity, security and warmth experienced in the home while the tempest of trouble rages in the world outside. Perpetually youthful, Storms exist to experience the ecstasy of freedom. They have the great capacity to both learn and teach. Their constant quest for novel experiences often leads to difficult tests and storms of emotion. Looking at these difficulties for the lessons they indeed are, will enrich our lives rather than destroy. Cauac individuals teach much through their electricity of being. Lightning energizes earth, this same energy energizes humans. Divine connections can be accessed.

Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA: Redbird’s symbol is Alcyone of the Pleiades Star in constellation Taurus.  Alcyone is the Central Sun of the Universe, heart of heaven. Lightning is the visible evidence of the presence of Redbird Spirit in the Sky, daughter of the Sun Spirit, sign of Fire, Sun’s alter ego on Earth. Redbird is a feminine sign; the hand that rocks the cradle. The symbol of nurturing, the lightning nurtures and energizes, with energy for zest, curiosity, imagination, and ideas. Lightning adds spiritual force to the human by way of “lightning of the blood” of a healer, directly body to body vibration. The key to spiritual communication and access to the wisdom of the Ancestors lies in the ability to bestir the blood to speak. Sacred stones such as flint, obsidian, crystal are created by lightning striking the ground. (Cauac is a source energy of Flint/ETZNAB.)

[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
